The Why
I've been laid off. I've had a review that didn't reflect the work I put in. I know what it feels like to be good at your job and still get knocked down by circumstances that have nothing to do with your talent.
Watching that happen to people in my network — again and again, especially lately — struck a nerve. So instead of just sending another "thinking of you" message, I built something.
The What
The Green and Sound Collective is a place for talented people between jobs, stuck in the wrong one, or just needing to remember what they're capable of — to do real, portfolio-worthy work, sharpen their skills, and rebuild their confidence alongside peers who get it.
We take on real projects: product and strategy teardowns, pro-bono work for nonprofits, and hands-on AI skill-building — all designed to produce something you can actually point to.

What You Get
The Honest Terms
This is early-stage. Right now, work is unpaid and entirely opt-in — do as much or as little as fits your life. There's no cost to join. As we bring on clients, paid opportunities will open up for those who want them. No pressure, no obligation, ever.
